Two hospitalised after local road crash

Two people were hospitalised after a road traffic collision near Horseleap on Monday evening.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the collision, involving a motorcycle and a car, which occurred around 6pm, on the old N6 near Horseleap,

Both the driver of the car, a male aged in his 40s, and the motorcyclist, a male aged in his 20s, were taken by ambulance to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
