Tullamore student named Best Comedienne at AIMS School Mentor Programme awards
A Sacred Heart School Tullamore student has been named as Best Comedienne at AIMS School Mentor Programme awards.
Winners were announced today (Wednesday) in an online live stream.
Isabelle McComiskey took home the award for Best Comedienne for her role as Morticia Addams in the play The Addams Family.
The school has received nominations in four categories, including Best Overall Show, Best Comedienne, Best Director, and Best Chorus.
In a statement online, Sacred Heart School Tullamore wrote: "What we do here goes far beyond a show, it’s months of commitment, teamwork, creativity, and belief. Every rehearsal, every note, every detail matters, and our students rise to that challenge every single time."
Banagher College's Beauty & the Beast also received a nomination for the Mentor's Special Award for the pioneering spirit of Laura McDowall and Gillian Dewane for successfully introducing Musicals to Banagher College.
