A horse bred in Offaly has taken a podium place at the famous Badminton Horse Trials
Annaghmore Valoner who was bred in Offaly by Sinead Healion, from Annaghmore, near Blueball, and ridden by Britain's Harry Meade, has taken third place on the podium at the 2026 Badminton Horse Trials in the UK.
Lying in second place overnight, the 14-year-old mare had a single fence down in the final jumping phase to finish on a final score of 35.1.
The Badminton Horse Trials are seen as the pinnacle of the global horse trials calendar.
