Offaly hurlers make one change ahead of crunch Kildare clash
Offaly hurling manager Johnny Kelly has made one enforced change for the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship clash with Kildare on Sunday (Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, 2pm).
Colin Spain returns to the Offaly team for Dan Ravenhill, who sustained an injury in lasy weekend's vital victory against Wexford. Aside from that, the Faithful County remains unchanged from the team that achieved the county's first championship victory against Wexford since 2012.
Despite some hugely encouraging performances in this year's Leinster Championship, Offaly still might not make the All-Ireland quarter-finals. For this to happen, Offaly needs to beat Kildare this weekend, which most observers feel is well within their abilities, but also hope that Dublin can beat Kilkenny.
With no wins under their belt, Kildare have already been demoted to the Joe McDonagh Cup for 2027,
