Summer set to warm up in Lee's Bar and Venue

To celebrate the 130th year of the bar a full line up of music is on offer in Lee’s this summer from ballad and Irish in the lounge to rock and dance in the beer garden.

Some of the highlights include: Friday, May 22 when local troubadour Dubh Lee launches her new single which recently was single of the weekend on 2fm and she is bringing some friends along for what promises to be a great night’s music.

For the June bank holiday Lee’s are delighted to bring Harry Hudson Taylor on Friday, May 29 and on Sunday, May 31, for all the mods out there, The Paul Weller Experience will bring a night to remember playing hits from The Jam, The Style Council and his solo albums.

If you prefer your rock harder on Saturday, June 6 there will be two tribute bands - Dive playing Nirvana and Renegades of Funk (a Rage against the Machine tribute) while on Friday, June 12 brings an up and coming original rock band Foot Squeaker followed on Friday, June 19 by another single launch by The Cardinal Sins (with special guests Supersonic Surfing Circus from Athlone).
