New parking fees are introduced in Offaly town

New parking bye-laws are now in place for Edenderry, as and from today (Tuesday, June 2).

From today, all-day parking in the Offaly town will only be available at O’Connell Square.

The new parking fees will be in operation between Monday's and Saturday's from 9am to 6pm.

To park in the town for 30 minutes, a fee of €0.50 will apply. That fee is doubled for parking for an hour.

For 90 minutes parking, it will cost the driver €1.50 with a €2.00 charge applied for 120 minutes of parking (JKL Street only).

All-day parking will only be available at O'Connell Square for €4.00, Offaly County Council said on its website.
