Tidy towns hits out at overnight illegal dumping in Tullamore

Tullamore Tidy Towns Association has this morning (Thursday, June 4) hit out at the illegal dumping of waste in the area.

The group has been recently doing enormous work to improve the general tidiness and appearance of Tullamore, with the judging for this year's Tidy Towns competition set to begin shortly.

The Tidy Towns Association said this morning that the illegal dumping of waste has taken place overnight outside Riada House on the Arden Road in Tullamore.

On its social media platforms, the group said 'it is not the first time it has happened and it's not right or fair to just leave rubbish in the street'.

The Tidy Towns Association has reported the matter to the litter warden at Tullamore Municipal District and an Garda Síochána. It is also appealing to anyone who has information on who might be doing this, to report the matter to said authorities.
