Local craftmakers encouraged to join all-island celebration

Offaly craftmakers have been reminded there is only a few days remaining to register for the Design & Crafts Council Ireland's 'August Craft Month'.

The closing date for applications is Sunday, June 7, with Offaly 'makers, designers, crafters and event organisers' urged by Offaly Enterprise Office to explore the opportunities that Craft Month can offer.

The Enterprise Office are encouraging people to 'take part in the all-island celebration of local craft heritage'.

Craft Month, it said, can help people connect and network with a community of dynamic local makers and enhance skills by attending free online workshops.
