Offaly IFA backs competition which aims to grow association's membership

The Offaly branch of the Irish Farmers' Association (IFA) is backing a 'refer a friend' competition which is aiming to help grow the association's membership nationally.

The initiative is for existing IFA members who successfully refer a friend to join the association, resulting in both the existing member and their friend being entered into a draw to win prizes including a brand-new Toyota Hilux and a €2,000 FBD Insurance voucher.

IFA Offaly county chairperson Joe Daly said: "This competition is a great opportunity for our members to showcase the strength of our association and the many benefits of being part of the IFA.

"IFA has maintained a membership base of more than 1,500 in voluntary members in county Offaly through its constant representation of farmers across all sectors, the supports it provides, and its comprehensive membership benefits package.

"We invest significant time and resources in supporting our members and ensuring their voices are heard at every level.

"This new 'refer a friend' initiative is an innovative way of encouraging our existing members to help attract new members to the association and strengthen our collective voice.

"I would encourage all members to get involved and start referring today. To refer a friend, simply visit ifa.ie/raf, generate your unique referral link, and share it by email, text message, or WhatsApp with friends, family, and fellow farmers," he added.
