Offaly's Maisie fetches spot in Nose of Tralee final
An Offaly dog with a zest for life has earned a place among the final 32 contestants in the Nose of Tralee 2026 competition.
Maisie will proudly represent Offaly in the nationwide contest after impressing judges with her charm.
Her owner believes Maisie has everything it takes to claim this year's title.
"Maisie would be the best Nose of Tralee because she brings fun, friendship and a little bit of mischief wherever she goes," they said.
"Whether she's chasing her favourite orange ball, making new friends on her walks or investigating every interesting scent she comes across, Maisie lives life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. Her nose is always hard at work, leading her on adventures and helping her discover the world one sniff at a time.
"Most of all, Maisie reminds us to enjoy the simple things in life, fresh air, good company and the excitement of a new adventure."
The Nose of Tralee organisers recently announced the final 32, with one representative chosen from each county in Ireland to compete for the 2026 title.
Public voting opens on July 24, with the winner due to be announced on August 18.
Maise will now be hoping to sniff out enough votes to bring the Nose of Tralee title to Offaly.
