Tidy Towns to host 5K walk in aid of Little Wishes Edenderry

Edenderry Tidy Towns are set to host a 5k walk this August bank holiday weekend in aid of Little Wishes Edenderry.

Taking place on Monday, August 1, at 2pm, the walk will raise money for the local, volunteer-run charity that provides surprise treats and grants simple wishes to people in the Edenderry area who are affected by cancer.

The generosity of the people in Edenderry has kept the Little Wishes fund going since October 2012.

The group uses local businesses to ensure the money raised in Edenderry goes back into Edenderry.
