Offaly's national hat-trick hero honoured by local league

Rising Offaly soccer player Kyle McNamee Robinson was recognised at the weekend's Midlands Schoolboy/Girl League (MSL) annual awards' ceremony.

McNamee Robinson, who plays with Edenderry Town FC, was acknowledged with a special award after recently starring for the Republic of Ireland at the U14 Associations Cup in Limerick.

The Offaly youngster netted an impressive hat-trick as Ireland defeated Scotland in the tournament decider. The MSL awards night was held at the Marian Hall in Birr, where Edenderry Town FC was also recognised as the MSL Club of the Year for the 2025/26 season.
