Gardai in Birr seek information on hit and run incident

Gardaí in Birr are appealing for information following what they described as "an alleged hit-and-run and assault" that occurred in the Birr area near Lidl at approximately 9.30am on Sunday morning.

The vehicle involved is believed to be a gold Volkswagen Passat.
