Work to start on watermain replacement project in Pullough

Uisce Éireann will carry out leakage reduction works to support residents and the business community in Pullough.

The works, which Uisce Éireann said are due to be completed by Spring 2027, involve the installation of approximately 6km of new, modern pipes between the Pull-Inn Pub and the Cush Back Road, with a second section running from Pullough Community Shop and Café to the Turraun Nature Park car park.

Works will include installing new water service connections from the public water main on the road to customers’ property boundaries and linking them to customers’ water supply.

Uisce Éireann has advised of "some short-term water interruptions" with traffic management measures in place during the works.

Welcoming the project, Dave Murphy of Uisce Éireann, said that these upgrades will help stop leakage and give the community in greater confidence in their water supply for years to come.
