Mucklagh to celebrate the importance of Irish bats

An interesting free event, for those with interest and curiosity in bats, will soon take place in Offaly.

A bat walk and talk session, collaborated on by Offaly Climate & Biodiversity Group and Mucklagh Tidy Village, and led by Bat Conservation Ireland, will be held at Mucklagh Community Centre on Friday, August 14 (8pm).

On the occasion, an indoor bat talk will be followed by an outdoor bat walk with bat detectors, giving people a chance to learn all about Irish bats.

Bookings for the event are free on eventbrite.
