Tullamore band hitting the heights on current world tour

Tullamore-formed band Chasing Abbey is currently attracting huge crowds as its mammoth world tour continues ahead of the release of their debut album.

The band, consisting of childhood friends Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne and Ted Conway, will play in Portland, Oregon later today (August 11) and are due back in Ireland in the coming weeks, with performances at Dublin's Vicar Street and then in Belfast.

The world tour will continue until mid-December when it concludes in Australia. Before then, the trio known for their explosive fusion of electronic production and Celtic influences, will visit countries such as France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, and Switzerland.

The band, formed in 2016, consists songwriters, producers, and multi-instrumentalists Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne and Ted Conway. The trio, who have built a reputation for high-energy and powerful live performances, will release a debut album entitled 'Cyber Celt' on Friday, September 18. Their show at Dublin's Vicar Street will take place on September 17, followed by a performance in Belfast the following evening.
