Offaly Hospice Foundation to hold annual church collection this weekend

Offaly Hospice Foundation will hosts its annual church gate collection in Tullamore this weekend, on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16.

The funds raised through this annual collection help Offaly Hospice Foundation to continue supporting the work of its palliative and end-of-life care services for patients and their families throughout Offaly.

The Hospice said every donation, 'no matter the size', makes a real difference and is 'greatly appreciated' by the Foundation.

Offaly Hospice said it is fortunate to have a wonderful network of volunteers who 'give their time each year to organise and assist' with collections in parishes across the county.

'Their commitment and generosity ensures that this important fundraiser can take place, and sincere thanks is extended to each and every one of them,' the Foundation stated.

Offaly Hospice also thanked the parish priests for facilitating the collections and the many people who continue to support so generously year after year.
