A Tullamore woman has raised €2,400 with tea party in aid of Team Hope

Marie Walsh, a volunteer with the Christmas Shoebox Appeal in Tullamore, hosted a Team Hope Tea Party at her home.

On the day, she raised €2,400 for Team Hope's year-round work with children, families and communities.

Team Hope is a child-focused international development organisation driven by the belief that every child deserves dignity, opportunity and hope.

The charity mobilises the generosity of children, donors, volunteers, families, schools, churches and corporate partners across Ireland to bring practical support to children in communities across Africa and Eastern Europe.
