Local drama society to host open auditions this evening

Tullamore Amateur Drama Society is inviting new faces – and those more familiar to the stage – to open auditions and read-throughs for its upcoming production of Oscar Wilde’s 'Lady Windermere’s Fan'.

The auditions will take place this evening (Tuesday) at 7.30pm in Maunsell's pub, Tullamore.

On its social media platforms, the drama society said: 'We are looking for new faces and familiar ones alike, whether you’re aiming for a lead role, a supporting part, ensemble, or want to get involved behind the scenes in set, backstage, or production, there’s a place for you in this show'.

The society added that no previous experience with with the society is required. It only asked that people bring 'enthusiasm and curiosity'.

'Lady Windermere’s Fan' will be taking to the stage in November.
