Sylvia’s fashion style wows at Killarney and Wexford

A Tullamore woman's style and sartorial choices have charmed the crowds at Killarney Races and Wexford Races. Sylvia Novak, a personal assistant to business managers in the Tullamore hospital medical directorate, was crowned the best dressed lady at Killarney Races on Saturday last.

This was her second award of the season for her attire. She also was one of the top ten winners at Wexford Races. For both her outings Sylvia was dressed and accessorised by Rita Daly Millinery, another Tullamore talent.

A personal assistant to the management team in the Tullamore hospital medical directorate, Sylvia has a penchant for elegant fashion. “She is a natural star,” said Rita Daly, a respected milliner from town who has also ventured into fashion designing. Rita created the red polka dot dress that earned Sylvia the best dressed title in Killarney. She also designed the hat, jewellery and bag to complete the look.

Sylvia's blue outfit at the recently concluded Wexford races was also well received. Designed by Rita, the blue dress and the matching hat fetched her a spot in the top ten at the Wexford races. The duo also collaborated for Tullamore Show where Sylvia's black check and lemon hat (created by Rita) won the best hat.
