Personal milestones at Mountlucas Parkrun

There were personal best times achieved at the weekend Mountlucas Parkrun. Luis Iemma completed the 5km course in a phenomenal 18 minutes and 33 seconds. Teresa Bolger also achieved a new personal best time, along with her granddaughters Emily and Sadie. Well done everyone!

It was a quieter than usual Mountlucas parkrun as many of the regular attendees had opted to complete the Bord na Mona Tullamore Harriers half marathon which was held on the same day. Massive well done to Catherine Bennett, Edward O'Loughlin, Finbar Redmond, Larry Rigney, Mairéad Scally, Margaret Bennett, Paschal Naughton, Patrick O'Keeffe, and Richie Farrell.

Ger Dempsey volunteered for the 25th time at Mountlucas parkrun at the weekend. No parkrun can take place without a team of volunteers so Mountlucas parkrun is grateful to Ger, and all of the people who give up their time to help to host this event week after week.

Mountlucas parkrun takes place at Bord na Móna Mountlucas windfarm every Saturday morning at 9.30am sharp. There's something for everyone at Mountlucas parkrun whether you want to walk, run, volunteer or just meet new people.
