Tullamore Toastmasters group returning for new season

Tullamore Toastmasters is returning for the first meeting of its new season this Thursday evening.

The group, which aims to help improve members' confidence in public speaking, will be gathering on Thursday (September 10) at 8pm in the meeting room at Fergie’s bar, Market Square, Tullamore.

Organisers are encouraging people who might be thinking about coming along to give it a go.

"If you've ever thought about growing in confidence, finding your voice, or becoming a more comfortable speaker - this is your sign. Why wait until the new year? Start your journey right now!" said the Toastmasters group.

"For over 32 wonderful years, Tullamore Toastmasters has been a friendly home for people from all walks of life - helping generations build the confidence to speak clearly, think on their feet, and manage nerves, whether at work, at events, or simply in everyday life.

"No experience needed, just bring yourself!"

The group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, and it said new guests are always warmly welcomed.
