Local youth centre completes three sold-out shows of renowned musical

St Mary's Youth & Community Centre has brought an end to a run of three sold out shows of 9 To 5: The Musical.

The musical was staged at the community centre at Harbour Street, Tullamore, and its organisers has described the show as 'an incredible few nights'.

'After months of rehearsals, hard work, laughter and dedication, our amazing teenage cast took their final bow last Saturday night', the organisers said on its social media platforms. We thank every single person who bought a ticket, came along, cheered, laughed, applauded and supported our cast throughout the show. The support meant the world to our young performers and to everyone at St Mary’s Youth & Community Centre', they said.

The community centre added that it 'incredibly proud' of every member of the cast.

'They committed themselves fully to the production and delivered three fantastic performances. The confidence, talent and teamwork shown on-stage was amazing to see', they said.

The community centre also thanked the directors, crew, volunteers, parents and everyone who helped make the show possible.

'Every ticket, every round of applause, and every kind word helps us continue creating opportunities like this for young people in our community. 9 to 5 may be over but the memories will last a long time', the community centre said.
