Chasing Abbey announces further tour dates as debut album gets ready to drop

As the release of debut album 'Cyber Celt' prepares to drop this Friday, Offaly band Chasing Abbey has announced even more concert dates for the spring of 2027.

The band, formed in Tullamore by childhood friends Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne and Ted Conway, will play 21 concerts in north America between mid-February and mid-March.

Only last week, the Tullamore formed band - having recently sold out shows at Dublin's Vicar Street and Belfast's Limelight venues - announced a winter tour for Ireland. And all of this is on the back of a mammoth world tour, which began in August and won't complete until mid-December, in Australia.

On Thursday, the world tour takes them to Dublin's Vicar Street followed by the Limelight gig, in Belfast, on Friday.

Known for its explosive fusion of electronic production and Celtic influences, the band will also perform two acoustic sessions at record stores in Dublin and Galway to promote its upcoming new album 'Cyber Celt', which is due for release on Friday, September 18.
