Upcoming family event in Kilcormac to celebrate local cultural diversity

An intercultural family event is set to take place at the local community centre in Kilcormac on Sunday, October 18.

The afternoon gathering, from 2-4pm, is being organised by Kilcormac Development Association, which said it will provide an opportunity "to celebrate the different cultures that make our community so special".

The organisers say there will be something for everybody on the day, with plenty to see, taste, try and enjoy from a variety of cultures.

This is a chance for the community to come together and meet new people, with a range of different food, music, dance, art, traditions and more planned on the day.

Kilcormac Development Association said everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along for "what promises to be a lovely afternoon" in the community centre (Eircode: R42 X894).
