Local club steps up development campaign with fundraising initiative
Clodiagh Gaels GAA, the dual club based in the villages of Killeigh and Killurin, has launched a 'Buy-A-Brick Campaign' to help fundraise for its new clubhouse and dressing room development at Páirc Naomh Shinchill.
Works on the development are set to begin next month and the club has set a target on idonate of raising €75,000 by next May.
Included in the works are plans for a new meeting room, kitchen and shop facility, new dressing room and shower layouts, dedicated referee changing and shower facilities, additional equipment storage and toilet facilities for the public, as well as new entrance and exits to the GAA field.
The clus said that the 'Buy-A-Brick Campaign' is a chance to 'permanently cement your family, business, or a loved one’s memory into the literal fabric of our club'.
Every brick purchased will be professionally engraved and prominently displayed on a new Patron's Wall in the clubhouse.
An Individual/Memorial Brick (€250) will be two lines of custom text (example: family name and locality), which the club said is perfect for players, past members, or remembering loved ones. Those who wish to support the clubhouse development without buying a brick can donate via the custom amount option. Any amount, big or small, will go a long way towards the development and will be much appreciated by all involved, the club said.
