Public praised for its support of Tullamore toy and model show
Organisers of the Tullamore Toy Diecast & Model Show, held with great success last weekend, have spoken of their pride at being able to support Offaly School of Special Education from proceeds raised at the event.
In the show's 13th year, large crowds gathered at Tullamore Court Hotel for last Sunday's event, with show organisers describing the public's response as “incredible”.
Among the treats that on-show for attendees included trucks, cars, trains, planes, cranes, dioramas and more.
“We hope everyone who attended went home with something they were looking for and had a fantastic day enjoying everything the show had to offer," organisers said
"We thank everyone who came along and supported us. One of the most rewarding parts of the show is being able to give something back to our local community.
"We are incredibly proud to support Offaly School of Special Education, and we would like to thank everyone who helped us raise money for this fantastic cause," they added.
The organisers thanked all display exhibitors, and noted “the work, time, passion and dedication” that goes into the displays.
“The standard gets better and better every year, and it’s fantastic to see the show growing so much. Every person who attended, every displayer who took part, and everyone who supported the show played a part in helping us make a difference.
"The support means so much, and together we can help support a very worthwhile cause. The support we received was absolutely incredible, and none of this would be possible without every single one of you,” said the organisers.
