Clara Musical Society to stage 'Pippin' as their 2027 production

Clara Musical Society has confirmed 'Pippin' as its April 2027 production.

It is the second of two productions which the musical society will stage during its 2026/2027 season.

The dark comedy musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by the leading player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance.

Clara Musical Society said 'Pippin' is "packed with fantastic music, energetic choreography, big dance numbers and brilliant ensemble opportunities".

In advance of auditions for the April 2027 production, Clara Musical Society will host an information evening on Thursday, November 12.

Auditions for the principal and cast roles will take place on Sunday, November 15.

In September, Clara Musical Society performed a sold out four night run of 'Dear Evan Hansen' at Esker Arts Centre Tullamore to much acclaim.

It is the first occasion the Society will host two stage productions during the musical theatre season.
