Local student could see artwork on Google homepage
Transition year student at Killina Presentation Secondary School Steven Comiskey has been selected for the public voting stage of this year’s “Doodle 4 Google” competition.
Voting begins today (Monday) and remains open until March 10 at http://www.google.ie/doodle4google/.
One talented artist in the competition will see their artwork on the Google Ireland homepage.
The winner will also get a €5,000 college scholarship, a €10,000 technology grant for their school and a Chromebook for themselves and their teacher.
Steven and his art teacher Emma Perry have been invited to attend the competition’s final prizegiving in the Google Foundry on March 24 next.
