Huge support for Golf Classic in aid of ODVSS and Cara Curley Fund

The main sponsors of a Charity Golf Classic which takes place this week in aid of Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service (ODVSS) and the Cara Curley Fund have presented a cheque for €2,000 to the event.

Lumcloon Energy presented the cheque to the organisers of the Golf Classic which takes place tomorrow (Thursday, May 4) and Friday, May 5, in Portarlington Golf Club.

The event has garnered huge support and a big turnout of golf enthusiasts and supporters from all across Offaly and beyond is expected to attend.

The Golf Classic will be a Four Ball Scramble, Entry €200 for a team of four or sponsor a Tee Box for €50.

There are many great prizes on offer for winning teams including tickets for Electric Picnic, lunch in Chapter One Restaurant in Dublin and dinner in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore. Other prizes include green fees for some great courses including PGA National Slieve Russell, Tullamore Golf Club and Esker Hills Golf Club.
