Rath Eglish Foroige host successful fundraiser event

Rath Eglish Foroige Club held two events on Sunday, May 14, starting with a face painting and crafting event organised by Makayla Murray with donations raising funds for Rath Community games.

Aisling Horan organised a community litter pick followed by refreshments. Many thanks to everyone that turned out to help and to Offaly Council for supporting Aisling with this event.

It's been a busy month for Rath Eglish Foroige club as ten leadership community projects come to fruition. This exciting programme enables young people aged 15 to 18 to develop the skills and qualities necessary to be inspiring leaders. Young people are empowered to make a positive change in their community through practical actions and projects.
