Tullamore CTC re-launch 'Café Inspire'

Tullamore Community Training Centre re-launched their coffee shop 'Café Inspire' on Tuesday, April 15.

Based in Kilcuttin Business Park, the café has opened back up under the leadership of new Head Chef Sinead Spollen.

Since taking on her role, Sinead has revived the café, with a new menu, friendly service, and an inclusive space for all involved. Sinead is supported in the kitchen by Kawa Darwish who’s calm presence is invaluable to both the Café and learners

“It’s so rewarding to see the learners build their confidence each week,” she said. “They’re full of potential, and it’s great to see them thrive. It's a place to be your young selves."

Lynsey McCabe, Centre Manager, said the café offers a new way for students to learn in a hands-on environment.

“Working in the café gives learners a real sense of what the hospitality industry is like. It’s not just theory, it’s hands-on learning, which makes a huge difference."

Every single customer plays a part in supporting this not for profit Café and Sinead's mission is to provide a safe space to empower their learners.

“The café is more than just a place to eat, it's a place to relax, unwind and catch up with friends," said Liam Gallagher, Vice Chairperson of the Students Advocacy Committee.

The public are invited to pop in, grab a coffee or enjoy lunch, and support a space that’s not just about great food but also community.
