Local fundraiser to include Gardaí VS fire fighters challenge

Taking place in Clara Swimming Pool on Friday, May 9, from 1pm, Offaly Gardaí, Clara Fire Brigade, and Offaly Civil Defence will all participate in the 'swim a mile' challenge.

The day will also include a Scoil Phroinsiais Naofa student v staff swim.

Other activities on the day include face painting, an ice cream van, a shoot out challenge, the chance to check out some fire engines, and music from DJ Lloyd Bracken.
