'Capturing Offaly 2025' calendar planned

Offaly Local Development Company (OLDC) is calling on budding photographers across Offaly to 'get snapping' for a novel community-built calendar they are planning to launch for 2026.

As part of their 'Capturing Offaly, initiative, the OLDC is seeking the submission of photographs which “showcase the essence of Offaly” and have asked people to share their favourite images taken anywhere throughout the county.

The best images will be selected for a community-built calendar which will have pride of place in homes, community spaces and businesses right across Offaly in 2026.

The rules of entry include:

All files submitted must be under 1GB

Images must not contain any recognisable individuals or groups

Images must be in landscape orientation

No text, watermarks or signatures to be included on images.
