30 new jobs for Tullamore with opening of Choice Store
Tullamore's retail landscape is about to get a welcome boost with the opening of a new lifestyle store, and the creation of 30 new jobs.
Choice Stores, a 100% Irish-owner retailer, will open it new retail store in Units 1-3 Riverview Retail Park, opposite Aldi, on Thursday, June 26.
Local customers of the new Choice Store can look forward to over 25,000 products across 20 departments. As well as everyday essentials, the new store will also offer lifestyle inspiration across a vast range of categories including “Home Living, Pet Care, Cleaning and DIY” with plenty more to discover.

The official grand opening will take place on Thursday, June 26 at 11am, with special guests including local TD Tony McCormack and popular social media personality Rachel Gorry. The day promises to be a celebration, featuring live broadcasts from Midlands Radio, entertainment, and exclusive opening weekend offers, giveaways and prizes.
The launch is part of Choice’s 2025 growth strategy, which includes new store openings, sustainability initiatives, and enhanced online and omnichannel capabilities.
