Offaly influencer to open new Choice Store in Tullamore tomorrow

There will be a welcome boost to the Tullamore high street tomorrow (Thursday, June 26) when Choice Stores, a 100% Irish-owner retailer, opens its new retail store in Units 1-3 Riverview Retail Park, opposite Aldi, at 11am.

The official grand opening will be presided over by popular social media personality, Offaly's Rachel Gorry and local TD Tony McCormack, an occasion which will feature entertainment, exclusive opening weekend offers, giveaways and prizes.

The opening of the new lifestyle store will create 30 jobs in the town and local customers of the new Choice Store can look forward to over 25,000 products across 20 departments.

As well as everyday essentials, the new store will also offer lifestyle inspiration across a vast range of categories including “Home Living, Pet Care, Cleaning and DIY” with plenty more to discover.

Founded in 1976, Choice Stores offers customers great value across home, lifestyle, and seasonal ranges. With a strong reputation for customer service, a growing nationwide footprint, and a trusted presence in communities, Choice continues to bring affordable everyday products to Irish households.

Choice has also built a reputation as Ireland’s go-to destination for seasonal goods, offering one of the largest selections of garden, outdoor living, Halloween, and Christmas products available anywhere in the country.

Ken Fox, Managing Director of Choice, said the company is “thrilled” to be opening their 12th store in the vibrant community of Tullamore, which has “a proud tradition of supporting local businesses.”

He said the new opening represents the commitment of the company to growing their footprint while supporting local employment and delivering everyday value to Irish families.
