The president of Tullamore Toastmasters, Charles Malone, was recently awarded the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award, the highest honour bestowed by Toastmasters International.

Charles, who has been a Toastmasters member for over a decade, received the award following the completion of a rigorous programme of advanced communication and leadership projects.

Since he joined Tullamore Toastmasters in October 2014, Charles has served as club president on three separate occasions, guiding the club through periods of growth and innovation.

Tullamore Toastmasters said his leadership style "is characterised by inclusivity, support, and a genuine desire to help members reach their full potential".

Beyond his contributions to Tullamore Toastmasters, Charles has also played a significant role in the wider Toastmasters International community.

He has served as both an Area Director and a Division Director, demonstrating his commitment to expanding the reach and impact of the organisation.

His dedication and leadership earned him the prestigious Division Director of the Year award, a testament to his skills and unwavering commitment.

Tullamore Toastmasters extended its heartfelt congratulations to Charles Malone on his recent receipt of the Distinguished Toastmaster honour.
