Construction of Shannonbridge GAA community gym begins as fundraiser reaches €70k
The construction of the new Shannonbridge GAA community gym has begun as the fundraiser reaches the €70,000 mark.
The incredible sum has been raised through both in-person ticket sales and online donations, with donors granted entry to the Shannonbridge GAA Community Gym Development Draw. The final goal for the fundraising drive is €80,000.
Sharing their gratitude, the club said: "A massive thank you for all of your support of the Shannonbridge GAA Club Community Gym Development fundraiser. We have now surpassed the €70,000 mark.
"The structure for the gym has now arrived. There are a fantastic array of prizes on offer, and with your help, we can get one step closer to providing a fantastic facility for our youth and the wider community. Your support is greatly appreciated."
Prizes for the draw inlcude prize money totalling €10,000, as well as All-Ireland Football Final tickets and a night's stay in a hotel for two lucky winners.
The closing date for the draw is Friday, July 11, at 9pm.
