Having previously raised a total of €1,900 for Barnardos when he embarked on a fundraiser in 2022 alongside his sister, Amie, the selfless young man decided to start growing his hair again as he put plans in place for a second fundraiser!

This time round, Shaun has raised €1,070 though the iDonate fundraising platform by having his impressive locks cut once again, with all proceeds from his fundraising efforts going to Barnardos in Edenderry, and his hair being donated to the Rapunzel Foundation.

Jo Garry Fundraising Events and Community Executive for Barnardos said 'Shaun's dedication to helping the children and families the charity supports is really inspiring, and his commitment to supporting Barnardos is commendable.

" With his selfless actions, Shaun has shown that anyone, regardless of age, can make a positive impact on the lives of others. Because childhood lasts a lifetime" said Ms. Garry.
