PHOTOS: Tullamore Camera Club's Kieran extends winning streak in July competition
Tullamore Camera Club attracted a large entry with their July competition, which had an open theme.
Camera club regular Kieran McEvoy extended his winning streak, as judges selected his superb shot of a munching squirrel taken at Ballyfin hides as the first place photograph.
Marie Kearns' photograph of a puffin taken on the Great Saltee Island was runner up on the night.
The guest judge, Con Murphy, who is a wedding photographer from Portarlington, chose Marie Kearns' second entry on the night, of an all singing, all dancing robin, as his favourite shot.
There will be no meeting held in August, but Tullamore Camera Club's September meeting will be held on Thursday, September 25, at 8pm in Offaly History Centre, Bury Quay. New members always welcome, no experience required.
