Cybersecurity talk for Offaly businesses to be held next week
A cybersecurity talk for businesses across Offaly will be held at the Midlands Skills Centre on Tuesday next, August 19.
Entitled 'Let's Talk: Cybersecurity and Business - The Hidden Costs of Being Unprepared', the talk aims to help local companies protect and future-proof their business. It takes place from 10am until 1pm.
It is described as a must-attend event for any business looking to keep its data secure and ensure staff are upskilled in recognising and responding to cyber threats either in the workplace or at home.
The session will provide valuable insights into: what to watch out for in today’s digital landscape; how to protect your business from cyber threats; real-world case studies; and information on available supports and services.
Speakers on the day will include experts from the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau, the National Centre for Cyber Security, representatives from LEO outlining available supports and services, and a case study from local service provider NIS. This is a must-attend event for any business serious about cybersecurity and looking to safeguard its operations and stay informed.
