Daingean farm Mount Briscoe to host new HedgeRow Fest next month

Daingean's Mount Briscoe organic farm has announced their newest event, HedgeRow Fest.

Taking place on Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, the event is a new boutique Hedge, Lit and Wellness Festival focusing on creativity, nature, hedgerows and slowing down.

The festival is described as "a collective of artists, poets, authors, creatives, foragers, farmers, ecologists and specialists bringing to life hedgerows visually, through the spoken word, music, poem or prose and visual art".

The acclaimed Richard Negus, author of Words from the Hedge, will be reading at the festival. Poet, rapper, playwright and record breaking beatboxer Testament will also feature with his award-winning Hot Poets eco-poetry collective.
