Offaly charity announces lucky winner of premium Oasis tickets
The lucky winner of an Offaly charity's fundraising draw for premium tickets to Saturday night's Oasis concert in Croke Park has been revealed.
Accessible Counselling Tullamore was raffling the pair of coveted tickets to the first of the band's two Dublin performances, with the draw taking place on Thursday afternoon.
Wes Kane was announced as the lucky winner.
The raffle tickets were being sold for €10 (one entry), €20 (three entries), and €50 (ten entries). The draw proved to be a fundraising hit for the charity, comfortably exceeding its target of raising €1,000 towards its services.
In a social media post after the raffle took place, Accessible Counselling Tullamore said: "A huge thank you to everyone who entered our raffle in support of ACT – your generosity helps us continue providing accessible and timely counselling to our community.
"We are especially grateful to the incredible benefactor who so kindly donated these tickets – your generosity made this fundraiser possible.
"Enjoy the show Wes!" the charity added.
