Two-day Púca Spooka event returning to Tullamore next month
This Halloween, Tullamore will be taken over by caped crusaders with a terrifying twist, as Púca Spooka returns with its brand-new theme: "Scary Superheroes".
The festival takes place at Lloyd Town Park on the Saturday and Sunday of the October bank holiday weekend: October 25 and 26.
Organisers say it will be an action-packed weekend where your favourite heroes and villains step out of the shadows in spine-tingling style.
This year’s theme transforms the park into a world of eerie adventures, combining superhuman thrills with Halloween chills.
Festival highlights are set to include Scary Superheroes: Larger-than-life costumed characters roaming the grounds; Fire and Circus: dazzling flames and daring stunts; 'Hard Knox' wrestling; Zombie Laser Wars; a Viking Village; and a Circus Carnival with fun, games, and festive magic for all ages.
A haunted maze, a motorbike stunt show and a 'Carn-Evil Funfair' are among the other attractions planned during the two-day event.
With breathtaking performances, immersive attractions, and a carnival atmosphere, Púca Spooka 2025 promises to be the ultimate family-friendly Halloween festival in the Midlands.
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite. Púca Spooka will take place from 3pm to 8pm on each of the two days, with a sensory hour also set to be included.
The annual Halloween extravaganza is supported by Offaly County Council, blending world-class performers, interactive attractions, and a lively community spirit.
Each year brings a fresh theme, and in 2025, “Scary Superheroes” takes centre stage, delivering thrills for families, fans, and Halloween lovers alike.
Ticket sales are limited to six per transaction, in order to give as many people as possible a fair chance to buy tickets.
A variety of food and beverage options will be available to visitors at the event.
This event is produced by Up Close and Personal Promotions, supported by Tullamore Municipal District of Offaly County Council.
