Offaly singers invited to apply for new series of TG4's Glór Tire

TG4's country music talent show, Glór Tire, will return early next year for its 22nd season, and auditions are currently open in an effort to find this island's new country star.

A number of Offaly singers have previously competed in the show, including Clara's Alex Roe, Banagher native Colin Kenny, Pullough's John Molloy and Clara's Noreen Rabbette, among others.

The new series of Glór Tire will be broadcast on TG4 between January and March of next year.

To apply, entrants must send one video, or YouTube link, of themselves performing a song, along with their contact details and a brief description of themselves, to: eolas@gaelmedia.ie

Entrants must be over 18 as of June 1, 2025, and must not be under contract to a manager or management agency. The deadline for entries is midday on October 8.

All entries will be uploaded onto a YouTube channel and shared with the Glór Tíre mentors who will choose their contestant from the entries received.

Successful entrants must make themselves available for all of the recording dates - November 11 and 12, February 24, March 3 and March 10 - as well as any promotional or behind-the-scenes days deemed necessary by the production company.

Season 22 of Glór Tíre will be presented by Aoife Ní Thuairisg, while Jó Ní Chéide and Caitriona Ní Shuilleabháin return as resident judges. The series is produced by Galway-based company, Gael Media.
