The Repak Resource Awards are Ireland’s leading environmental and sustainability awards, and celebrate Ireland’s leaders in waste prevention, reuse, circular design, and community-led environmental initiatives.

KMK Metals Recycling Ltd, which also has a facility in Kilbeggan, has been nominated for the 'Innovation in Waste Resource Products or Services' Award, which is sponsored by DNV.

Kurt Kyck from KMK Metals Recycling, has also been nominated for the 'ESG Leader' Award, sponsored by Producer Register Ltd.

KMK Metals Recycling has installed Ireland’s first Votechnik ALR4000, a robotic system for flat panel display and monitor recycling. Since 2022, it processes 60–80 screens per hour in a sealed environment, safely capturing mercury, producing cleaner fractions, and improving recovery yields. Domestic treatment avoids export emissions, protects workers, and secures critical raw materials in line with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act.

Fully certified to WEEE best practice, they deliver safer, higher-value recycling while advancing Ireland’s circular economy.

This winners will be announced at a ceremony at The Shelbourne Hotel on Thursday, October 23.
