Offaly students to conjure 90s nostalgia with upcoming school musical

Students at Coláiste Íosagáin in Portarlington are set to take audiences on a nostalgic trip back in time with this year’s school musical, 'Pop Stars: The 90s Musical', running from Wednesday, November 26, to Friday, November 28.

Bursting with colourful costumes, high-energy dance numbers, and a soundtrack packed with iconic 90s hits, the production promises an unforgettable celebration of the decade that brought us boy bands, girl power, and plenty of pop magic.

From heartfelt solos to upbeat group routines, the Coláiste Íosagáin cast has poured their energy and enthusiasm into every note and every step.

The show features some of the biggest pop anthems of the decade and is likely to have audiences singing along and tapping their feet from start to finish.

Looking ahead to the three performances of the show, the local school said: "With vibrant choreography, clever comedy, and plenty of nostalgia, 'Pop Stars: The 90s Musical' is the perfect way to brighten up a November evening.

"So dust off your denim jackets and get ready to relive the pop-filled glory days of the 1990's - you won’t want to miss this spectacular show!"

Performances will take place in Coláiste Íosagáin on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at 7pm.
