Television debut for Tullamore choir this weekend

Tullamore’s Academy Chamber Choir will make its television debut this Sunday.

The choir is to perform on RTE’s “Sunday Worship” at 11am on March 2, when Mass will be celebrated by the staff, students and friends of The Academy of Music in Tullamore.

This Sunday’s repertoire of music will be directed by Ciaran Brady and will showcase not only the talents of choir members but also that of organist Adam Collins, who is the organ scholar at the pro-cathedral in Dublin.

The celebrant of the televised Mass will be Monsignor Bernard Noonan. The Mass will be broadcast live on television, radio and on the web at www.rte.ie/live/. It will also be available on RTE Player.
