Offaly artists Chasing Abbey and Tolü Makay are among a group of top musical acts being spotlighted in live music sessions that will air on RTÉ's 2FM over the week ahead.

Monday next, April 29, marks the beginning of Studio 8 Week on 2FM, with the playing of exclusive live performances recorded at the station's Studio 8 recording space.

Chasing Abbey will debut a brand-new recording on 2FM Breakfast this coming Monday (between 6am and 9am) to kick off Studio 8 Week.

Then, throughout the week, listeners will be invited to tune in for a host of brand new and exclusive live music from Irish artists Picture This, Chasing Abbey, Tolü Makay, Gavin James and Leah Heart.

The session from Tullamore woman Tolü will be featured on the Roz and Emma show on Sunday, May 5, between 12 noon and 3pm.

The week-long celebration of Studio 8 means 2FM listeners will also get another chance to hear classic sessions from Ed Sheeran, Dermot Kennedy, Lewis Capaldi, Inhaler, Ava Max, Fontaines DC, Soda Blonde, Soule, Gemma Dunleavy and Noel Gallagher.
