Suicide talks for Offaly

As suicide is one of the biggest problems facing Offaly, a number of talks about the subject will be given throughout the county in April. Josephine Rigney, Suicide Training Officer with the HSE, will give the talks about greater suicide awareness under the SAFETALK banner organised by Offaly Community Forum. The first Offaly Suicide Awareness Talk will take place in the Parochial Hall High St, Belmont, on April 13, the second in Offaly Local Development, Company Millennium House, Main St, Tullamore on April 15 and in Daingean Town Hall on April 19. Each talk is on from 7pm-10pm. There are 30 places available each night. For registration form please contact Niamh Dowler Offaly Community Forum on 057 9357460 or email ndowler@offalycoco.ie
